Justification
The partnership between the participants HEIs are justified because the project aims to conduct research jointly by the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) and the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) applied to the study (analysis and processing) of the breast images from different examinations as ultrasound, mammography and thermography images. For this, human resources will be used and the infrastructure available in two HEIs, enabling the production of scientific and technological research and the formation of human resources at the post-graduate level, thus contributing to develop and consolidate the development of areas of computing visual image processing, computer modeling and simulation of the two institutions.
